I finished Picking Daisies on Sundays, and it has quickly become one of my all-time favourite romance novels. It’s not every day that I pick up a novel and feel connected to multiple characters and the story from the beginning.

I’ve never been through a situation like Dani, but I share her career dreams, which made me get really engrossed in the book quickly. Honestly, knowing Dani was a fashion student is one of the key reasons I bought the book in the first place. We even share similarities in the specific part of the industry we like. I also dream of being in couture.

I loved the relationships all the characters had with each other; Levi and Dani had such great chemistry, and his love for her just grew more evident as the book went on. The way Dani acts with his family is also so sweet; I loved her relationship with his little sisters. Her Friends from school were also so funny to read; I loved the banter she had with them. They were also just genuinely great friends to her. In some instances, they really brought her down to earth, which I loved.

Levi, as an MMC, stood out to me a lot. He’s different from a lot of the other guys I’ve read about in romance books. Not different in a bad way, though; I loved how he was soft and kind. Him and Dani genuinely caring for each other rather than fighting—although I do love a good enemies-to-lovers trope—was refreshing. The concept of him basically loving her for years but not showing it in the slightest confused me a bit, but it was from dani’s perspective, and she was a little oblivious at times.

I loved the writing and the overall story so much. The entire time I was reading it, I was so captivated, and I could not put it down! I plowed through it and managed to finish it within a day. I have the book on my Kindle, but I’m planning on getting a physical copy because I loved it so much.

Overall, definitely a five-star read for me, and I look forward to reading more of her books!
